It’s that time of the year again, and Vagkraft is almost upon us. This year the Vagkraft event will be returning to the Brampton Powerade Centre and there’s bound to be lots of cars, excitement and well, rain! Mother nature seems to like to play a cruel joke on us by landing thunder showers on the date of the show two years in a roll. But will that deter the enthusiasts? No! The show will go on, rain or shine, and we’ll be there to make the best of it!
For those that don’t know, Vagkraft is Canada’s premier VW/Audi event – so if you’re into German engineering, come on out and enjoy what the local Dub community has to offer. There will be slaloms, dyno runs, show car competition, exhibitions, sound-offs and a whole lot more!
Last year saw iDUB members taking all the glory as they swept up the MKV/MKVI MOD1 Show Car Event. Top three positions went to James, Cal and Mina – all worth of their titles. What will happen this year? With more MKVI now on the scene, will the MKV be able to hold their ground against the new generation? Will it be iDub members taking the trophies home once again? Either way, it’ll be interesting to see what modded cars will be out this year. The beauty of Vagkraft is that you can see all sorts of styles and genres within the VW community, everyone brings something to the table.
Also, rumour has it that The Stub will be on scene running the Auto-X! Don’t miss your chance to catch him in action – take a picture, grab an autograph – it may be the most memorable tale you tell your grandchildren!
Remember! August 14, 2011 – Powerade Centre in Brampton – 9am to 4pm, $5 entrance fee (free for children under 5) and free parking!

2010 iDUB Winners
